the science behind calmer days and better nights

Most sleep products start with one question: does this ingredient work?
sofi started with a better one: how do real people respond to real plants in real life?
That question shaped the sofi duo:
- sofi day with ashwagandha
- sofi night with passiflora
Two plants. Two moments. One simple rhythm.
we tested sofi in real life, not just in theory
Most supplement brands can tell you what is inside the bottle. We wanted to understand what happened when real people actually used plant formulations in everyday life.
Not in a perfect laboratory setting. Not in a tightly controlled routine. In the real world, with busy mornings, changing evenings, inconsistent habits, different stress levels and different sleep patterns.
That is why we created the sofi Pioneer Programmes.

To measure real-world response, we developed an intelligent spray to record use of our formulations, a journalling app to capture how people felt, and sofi Atlas, our machine-learning layer, to look for patterns across use and outcomes.
We used this technology to test the formulations. You do not need to use this technology to use the sofi duo.
The customer routine is simple: sofi day when the day starts to build. sofi night when you want to wind down. Just two simple sprays. But developing these formulations was a little different!

Every morning, Pioneers used the sofi app to reflect on how they slept. The smart spray built a use profile. Atlas looked for patterns across timing, consistency and reported outcomes.
This mattered because we did not just want to know what the plant was supposed to do. We wanted to understand what people felt it actually did.
what the pioneer programmes showed
The most important insight was not that everyone responded the same way.
They did not.
Some people appeared to respond more strongly to Ashwagandha. Some appeared to respond more strongly to Passiflora. Some seemed to benefit most from the rhythm of both.
That became a core part of the sofi idea: natural wellness is personal.

Clear response signals began to appear within the first few days of consistent use, and by the first week many Pioneers were reporting movement across more than one sleep indicator.
The Pioneer Programmes did not turn into the customer experience. They made the customer experience simpler. The measurement happened in the background so the routine could stay easy in the foreground.

why day and night both matter
Poor sleep is rarely only a night problem.
For many people, bedtime is simply where the day catches up.
Stress builds. The nervous system stays switched on. Thoughts keep running. The body finds it harder to let go.
That is why the sofi duo has two roles.
sofi day with Ashwagandha supports the moments when things start to build.
sofi night with Passiflora supports the transition into winding down.
Together, they support the full 24-hour rhythm: calmer days, easier evenings and better nights.

sofi day \ ashwagandha
for the part of sleep that starts before bedtime
Ashwagandha is the day plant in the sofi duo.
We chose it because stress does not wait until night. For many people, the build-up begins hours earlier, and that build-up is exactly what makes switching off harder later.
Published research has explored Ashwagandha in relation to stress, perceived anxiety, sleep quality and overall sleep support.
In the sofi Pioneer work, Ashwagandha helped us understand the day side of the sleep loop: supporting the moments when things start to build, before they follow you into the evening.
That is why sofi day is not about knocking you out. It is about supporting calmer days so nights have a better chance of being better too.

sofi night \ passiflora
for the transition into rest
Passiflora is the night plant in the sofi duo.
We chose it for the evening, when the body needs to move from doing into winding down.
Published research has explored Passiflora in relation to sleep quality, calm and anxiety-related outcomes.
In the sofi Pioneer work, Passiflora helped us understand the night side of the routine: supporting the shift from activity into rest.
That is why sofi night sits at the end of the day. Not to force sleep. To support the transition into it.
why spray
Most supplements assume your need is fixed: one pill, one time, one routine.
But life is not fixed.
Stress can rise before a meeting. Build through the afternoon. Follow you into the evening.
That is why sofi is a spray.

Simple to carry. Simple to use. Easy to fit into real life.
It also helped us measure use in the Pioneer Programmes. The format was not separate from the evidence. It was part of how we learned.
what this means for you
You do not need to track every spray.
You do not need to analyse your sleep.
You do not need to use the smart spray, the app or Atlas.
We used those tools to validate the formulations with real people in real life.
Your routine is simple:
use sofi day during the day, when stress starts to build
use sofi night in the evening, when you want to wind down
Together, they give you a simple day + night plant spray routine designed around how sleep actually works.
Calmer days. Better nights.
what to expect
sofi is not designed to knock you out.
It is not a sedative.
It is a plant-based day + night routine designed to support your natural rhythm.

Some people notice a shift in a few days. For others, the pattern builds over the first week.
Responses vary. That is why consistency matters.
Give the plants a few days. Notice how your body responds. Build the routine that works for you.
our research principles

We believe natural wellness should become more honest, not less.
That means clear plants, clear roles, clear routines, clear expectations and clear limits.
The sofi Pioneer Programmes were real-world studies using self-reported sleep measures, app-based journalling and recorded spray use.
They were not placebo-controlled clinical trials.
They do not prove that sofi treats, cures or prevents disease.
They do provide valuable real-world evidence about how people responded to specific plant formulations in daily life.
The published literature explains why these plants matter. The Pioneer Programmes helped us understand how people responded in real life.
